The Tolomato and Matanzas estuaries connect with the ocean through the St. Augustine and Matanzas inlets. A project description should identify the actual waterway and shoreline setting, not simply say “St. Augustine waterfront.”
- Bring shoreline photos and any observations of changing water levels.
- Discuss boat approach, boarding height and lift clearance with the proposed vessel in mind.
- Have site conditions and the required reviews established before treating a sketch as a buildable plan.
